Fleming Island plastic surgeon, Dr. William Wallace, not only provides surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures, but therapeutic massages as well. Although we are primarily a plastic surgery practice, we wanted to provide our clients with a unique treatment option that would further enhance their health. At Fleming Island Plastic Surgery, we understand that relieving the body of stress, and muscle tension is essential to your overall health. Daily stress wears the mind and body down to a fatigue and anxious state, which is damaging to your well being. That’s why we offer several treatment options to benefit your spirit and body.

"Dr Wallace did my full mommy makeover and I could not be happier. Only a couple weeks post op and I am so thankful I chose FIPS and Dr Wallace. He took the time to answer all my million questions and was always readily available via phone and email for urgent issues. He also did Botox for me and I am thrilled at the result so far! He's an expert and everyone was so professional. Wonderful experience!"- H.B. / Facebook / May 09, 2017

Prior to treatment every client is required to fill out a short questionnaire and health form to describe their pain and health history. This allows our therapist to better serve you during your session. Treatments vary depending on the needs of the client and type of massage they are receiving. However, techniques such as deep and light strokes to relieve pressure and muscle tension, are common. Our massage therapist also specializes in techniques that relieve TMJ pain, which can cause severe discomfort, headaches and migraines. Clients who are experiencing stiff or tight muscles are recommended to receive a therapeutic massage, but those who prefer lighter pressure, would enjoy the stress reliever massage. Our highly–trained therapist will use essential oils to enhance healing and will focus on the specific areas of tension to sooth and relax aching muscles and joints.
There are so many health benefits to receiving a therapeutic massage. A full body session reduces tension, tightness, and joint discomfort. It also increases blood circulation and improves your range of motion. A facial massage can even help with allergies to reduce the pressure of sinus buildup and relieve TMJ pain. The physical benefits are endless, but massages also elevate the mood and alleviate stress and anxiety. Upon completion of a session, our clients can expect to feel relaxed and rejuvenated.
